Amorphic returns with his first release of 2023.


The debut year was strong with releases also on Modularz and Symbolism.

2023 has already started wit a big bang with releases on Token and the Slam Radio Podcast, as well as the vinyl edition of Amorphic 01 and 02 combined onto the same 12”.

Amorphic 03 takes things again into real deep, hypnotic territory. A62 arrives with 2 very different variants.

Act [I] brings metallic industrial morphing alongside atmospheric context, whilst Act [II] heads directly for Alien soundtracks and present a story that could easy be ripped directly from A Space Odyssey 2001, with its ultra eerie out of tune textures and completely weird soundscapes, its hard to put your finger on what your actually listening to except that its sounds completely out there and so different from the usual polyrhythmic triplet led arpeggio’s we hear so often.Amorphic really has its own sound and is developing deeper and darker with each release.

The 3rd track of the EP ‘Quathaga’ brings some brokenbeat techno heat to the table, with crunching edgy percussive tones and deep acidic echoes. Again this track displays Amorphic’s intent on giving the scene something just a bit different.

Happily that ultra eerie soundtrack was supplied as an ambient soundscape as the 4th and final EP track ‘The Monolith’, with more than a nod to that epic Sci-fi film mentioned earlier. A great way to round the EP off in its eerily uncomfortable yet very appealing state.
